How your cognitive psychology is unique compared to others

BLOG POST BODY PARAGRAPHS:  (Broken into easy to read paragraphs, formatting font to make it easier to follow main ideas, etc.)
  • Briefly explain why you are interested in studying your topic:
I’m interested in studying this topic because I’m planning on majoring in psychology next year in college. I've taken psychology and sociology in high school, and these classes were a few of the classes I actually enjoyed taking. I enjoy learning about how people make decisions and what leads them into doing things under certain circumstance because everyone is different, and we all act differently.

  • The overall question I plan on answering by the end of the project:
How can cognitive psychology help people make decisions?

  • Sub questions I will need to answer in order to answer the overall question:
  1. What is cognitive psychology?
  2. Under what circumstances do peoples behaviours vary?
  3. Do peoples’ morals change when faced with making decisions about money?
  4. How might society affect a person's cognitive psychology?
  5. Are people willing to take risks when money is involved in the picture?
  6. How does male and female think differently in certain situations?
  7. Do females actually think through things  a lot more than males?

  • My plan of research (what specific Library Databases, specific websites, names of authors, people, etc. will I pursue to find the answers to the questions above):
I’m planning on using both my sociology (Author: Tischler) and psychology textbook for data. Also databases like Science in Context, JSTOR, proquest research library, and also other psychology books.
