- Briefly explain why you are interested in studying your topic:
- I am passionate about American history and how events caused changes in history, such as how certain main historical happenings caused changes in the economy and how the economy has developed since America became independent from Britain and worked to be its own organized nation. I am always trying to become more educated in U.S. history because I feel that it’s important to know how our country has changed and improved over the last 250 years. American history has interested me since I was a child and I am excited to find out more about our country and learn how it became so successful, economically and culturally.

- What events have led to major changes in the American economy? Why were they so fundamental in the changing of the American economy?
